68 c20 Frame swap

Im about to purchase an 05 2500 GM, and drop my 68 c20 body on it. Besides the body mounts and other misc. mounts needed, my biggest concern is the heater box mounting to the older firewall and wiring will be my biggest hurdle. I want everything to look original to 68. No electronic gauges, switches or any other plastic crap. Any suggestions or advice before I dive into a major project.
Also planning on rebuilding the 6.0 LS engine and adding a turbo. (because I can)
