Installed my DIY4X Tubular Crossmember tonight.
Wanted to give a shoutout to Kert for the top notch work on this tubular crossmember. Fits like a glove, very well built, quick shipping and a very fair price for this quality of work. Really sets the truck off! I had mine powder coated Canary Yellow. Can't wait to set a new crate motor on it. Thanks again Kert!

That is sharp! I like the way you can remove the x member if you need to drop the pan..

Re: Installed my DIY4X Tubular Crossmember tonight.
You're going to want to mock your motor in and check for height differences vs stock if that's an issue for you as it will potentially affect header clearance. Also, when you do, you may want to take all of the hardware loose to get the motor mount holes to line up with the motor.
I'm in the middle of my cross member install also and I am going to have to have Kert make me new motor mounts with taller tabs, as he warned me of at time of purchase. Kert does make a great product, this cross member included, and he takes customer service seriously.

Sorry guys who's Kert, and I'm assuming this is LS friendly. Very nice work.

Kert runs Diy4x. He makes some ls adapters for '73+ Chevys that will fit it I believe

Check out his website diy4x.com. I believe he calls it the first gen crossmember? His turn around times are petty quick from my experience.
