Will be parting out '69 Chev K10, discount parts to SD-MN as I bring it back!
Looks like I'm going to be the proud new owner of a 1969 K10 longbed fleetside, less engine and transmission (was supposedly a 350/TH350). Getting it from SD so anyone who needs parts between there and here I can probably stop by and drop them off to avoid shipping costs, if you're really out of my way mebbe a few bucks for gas. If you aren't between there and here, hey, I'll ship to you, no problem you just pay for UPS. I'm putting this thread up as a "dibs" thread where people can claim parts before I get started ripping things apart.
Bad/missing: No engine No transmission (was an automatic) Part of grill looks mashed, might be recoverable?? will know when I get closer look Front drivers fender is borked No tailgate No taillights Keeping to myself the cab and bedsides Parts that look good, relatively rustfree: Bed (keeping bedsides to myself, but floor and front section look good) wooden floor. WTB steel floored bed if anyone has one! Doors look good, both of them Descent seat, probably needs recovered (I think bench cant remember) Automatic column Auto crossmember Don't know about dash, haven't got a pic of it yet Glove compartment door front axle/suspension (unknown as of yet) rear axle (also unknown, if its posi you can buy the open 5-bolt carrier out of my '72 C10 ) driveshaft Frame (only when I'm done ripping everything off it) T-case I will have the truck more likely than not, this weekend and then I can take pics of everything. If you want to put in a pic request or make an offer on something or group of somethings, my email is botboy60@hotmail.com. |

I'd be interested in some of the box parts you don't need and the doors if they are nice.

I may have a steel bed floor for you. I bought a parts truck about 6 months ago that has one, although I'm not real sure of the condition, as it is sitting at my parents house in Huron and I haven't had the chance to tear into it yet. I may be going home this weekend, and I could inspect it and let you know what kind of shape it is in.

Botboy
That guy has 2 more 67-72 trucks. If it looks like parting the first may be easy maybe you can rob a few parts off the other 2 while you are out there. When I was emailing him he said that he would take an offer for all of the trucks. I was going to buy the other 2 but the wife is having none of that so I thought I would pass the info to you. One is a 67 cab and front clip and the other is a 71 (I think, it may be a 69 or 70). The 71 is more complete. Shawn
