90% complete 4x4 conversion

$3000 -- CAB, BED, FENDERS, HOOD and GRILLE NOT INCLUDED. NO TITLE INCLUDED.

If you have a running C10 or C20 chassis that you want to swap for, we can work out a different price. I'll take off $500 if the motor doesn't go with it.

Up for sale is everything needed to convert a 67-72 Chevy or GMC truck from 2wd to 4wd. This is my nearly-complete project that I have decided I do not want to be 4x4. I'm selling all of the 4x4 parts including the engine and transmission. I will leave the body and fenders on long enough for anyone wanting to test components. Below is detailed information on everything I have. The truck is located near Inez, TX. I currently live in Austin and will have to schedule a time to show it. I'm not interested in parting the truck out at this time. Serious inquries welcome and I have plenty of pictures and info.

FRAME
-------------------------------------
1969 K20 Frame. Sanded and painted semi-gloss black

LIFT
-------------------------------------
rear - ORD 4" shackle flip w/factory k10 springs w/pro comp shocks
front - 73-87 K10 Pro Comp 4" front springs w/new skyjacker shocks

AXLES
-------------------------------------
rear - GM 12-bolt w/ 3.73 gears and locker
front - GM 10-bolt entirely rebuilt 3.73 (new u-joints, new bearings new brake components)

DRIVELINE
--------------------------------------
transfer case - refreshed NP208
transmission - completely rebuilt SM465
clutch - RAM clutch/billet flywheel with less than 10k miles
rear driveshaft with new u-joints
no front driveshaft fitted. I have it and it needs to be shortened
the steering box is leaking - I have a rebuilt one sitting ready to go on

TIRES
-------------------------------------
Interco TSL's 15.5x35 on 10x15 aluminum wheels
These tires are not roadworthy and one leaks air overnight

ENGINE
-------------------------------------
383 small block chevrolet
Scat crank w/H-beam eagle rods and flat-top pistons
very mild cam
487-casting large-chamber heads
aluminum intake w/holley 600cfm carburetor - I have a Megasquirt TBI conversion in the works, I'll sell it for more $.
full serpentine conversion with brand new PS pump and water pump
new headers and all new exhaust system with thrush welded mufflers.
engine has around 30k miles on it

CAB, BED, FENDERS, HOOD and GRILLE AND NOT INCLUDED
--------------------------------------------
the rest of the parts are going on a different project of mine. I will leave them on long enough for demonstration purposes

Re: 90% complete 4x4 conversion

Well if i can't sell the 4wd stuff I'll just finish it and drive it. Now that I live in Austin I'm afraid I won't have any use for it.

I'm also scared to buy tires for it

Re: 90% complete 4x4 conversion

Planning to make my truck a hauler for my autocross project. Added some new parts AND lowered the price a bit.

Re: 90% complete 4x4 conversion

You could always go with some skinny tire's...that would help with the price...
