Where do you guys shop for parts in your area? It is very challenging even finding someone that is selling their "junk". So i guess im asking how do yall find the folks selling parts?

Re: replacement parts

You have the Pate and Decatur swap meets in your area which are both pretty good size meets. I have only been to the pate meet and I saw a lot parts for our trucks there. I even met a few board members there.... I can't imagine that you can't find any parts in an area the size of the Dallas/Fort Worth/Arlington area. I purchased a pretty nice cab in a northern suburb of Dallas a few years ago. You have to ask questions and go out and beat the bushes. Find some shops that work on older vehicles and talk to the employees. If you have a car club in the area go to a couple of their meetings and talk to some of the members. I'm bettin' I could come down there and find just about anything you wanted at a reasonable price within two weeks.... Just sayin'... LockDoc

Re: replacement parts
Call Gas Monkey Garage*. I'm sure they'd be glad to find you whatever you need. I'm sure Richard would hook you up with a smokin' deal that'll clean your wallet and leave ya smilin'.
*You already got the serious answer> Craigslist

Re: replacement parts
I am lucky in that there are a ton of these trucks in Phoenix AZ and there's a guy named Tom K. who sells used parts in the parts for sale forum. He is about 3 miles from me, fair prices, and good parts.
Yep, lucky.
