Has anyone ever Taken Apart a Quarter panel?

Well I scewed up!

I thought I had cut all the spot welds to remove and when removing quarter panel it torked the door jam. So now i have to take apart to get hammer and dolly access.

Has anyone done this before? I looked all over forum but unsuccessful.

I there is a thread from several years ago on cutting down short bed bedsides to fit a blazer. It may cover what you are looking for.

There are a couple bolts inside the b pillar that hold the side to the floor, that may be whats holding you up, you have to drill out the spot welds on the inside cover to gain access to them.
Included what pics I had from when I took the last bedside apart, not sure if they help or not.

So here's a couple pics. One showing the 3 track wells cot along with the routing of seam sealer, the other where I have a question. I have my finger pouring to it. Is this zig zag cap connected via spot weld or adhesive or nothing?

Need to disassemble door jam piece to hammer out.

After looking at your pic you had to drill out spot welds where the outer skin meets door jam panel. I wasn't seeing spot welds on mine, only about 3 stitch welds about an inch long each. I need to inspect that closer but it didn't seem that there were spot welds there. Does that make any sense? I also don't believe this is a previous repair area since I did have to remove spot welds on the inner plate on the inside of qtr panel. I'll post a pic of that.

I'll also remove paint in that area to see of I can see spot welds intact.
