I just removed the Speed Warning cluster out of my 67 GMC. It need a new Bezel and wiring harness (both available as reproductions) Needles, lens, knob, and everything else looks good. (check pictures) $300.00 plus shipping. Plus 4% for paypal fees if paid that way. WES

Hi Wes, got the speedo last week but was working out of town. Opened it up on Saturday and it was all busted up. The posties must have kicked it here from Washington to Alberta. Gauges are still good and thats all I really wanted. All good. Just wanted you to know for future shipments via USPS.

USPS sucks! In 2005 I paid $100.00 for a walnut Luftwaffe-marked stock and they broke it (literally) in half! I was able to get my money back and keep all the stock hardware to boot, so I came out ahead, but it was a sad day indeed.

$100.00 for a Mauser K98 stock in 2005 was a lot to pay. Now, I get all long arms I buy shipped in plastic cases, no matter who the shipper is and I insure everything!

Just a side note to this, a lot of the early 67/68 cluster bezels are about as brittle as egg shells. It does not take too much to break one.

I have had several shipped to me for a cluster restoration or a core that do not make it in one piece regardless of the packaging or the carrier.

This is probably something as simple as a 48 year old piece of plastic
