My 68 before and after
Pretty exciting day, I bought this truck few months ago only needing a few things, grille repaint and wheel repaint, wax job, and my favorite touch the 1968 hubcaps from elliot949. Anyways I thought i would start a before and after thread, big changes or small. we all love pictures.
(I may have jumped the gun on the finished portion of mine as my spare still needs painted and put on the carrier and the grille is awaiting new studs for the hoops.

Re: Before and after pics
Looks great now, but, I think it looked great before as well.
What a score on a survivor. I have a guy I know with a 66 long bed survivor he beats around in. I would cherish that thing and not change a thing other than maybe the motor/trans.

Re: Before and after pics
Thanks everyone for the compliments, I do not plan on changing anything else on pickup. I'm just going to enjoy driving to work and some shows this summer, If its still around I may entertain throwing a 5spd in it over winter means it still has pedal setup for a manual. (I say IF its still around as I plan on keeping it, but going to shows you never know what someone is going to walk up and offer)

Re: Before and after pics
Winter is coming and so are some improvements, I just picked up an 06 for the 5spd, I'm going to put a 4.8l in front of it and do a 4/2 drop.

Re: Before and after pics
That is a really nice truck. It just looks so fresh and untouched. There are so many things that you could do to that truck, but I think the best is to just leave it alone. Sort of a diamond in the rough

Re: Before and after pics
It's been awhile since I posted, I haven't finished my swap yet. Had a busy year, I got married and we bought a farm which came with a shop that I've been trying to finish before the cold gets here. I have however gathered a lot of parts so once tear down begins I should have everything. My latest buy for the old truck is buddy buckets. I also collect signs and this week's sign is the goal for spring. Back on the road.
