Front bump stops with air ride ?
Right now my front end is lowered 5.5in static drop but it sits right on the bump stop. If I were to install air bags do I remove the bump stops?
Thanks |

Re: Front bump stops with air ride ?
I removed mine but left the original bump stop mount in place as it acts as a positive steering stop. I had to remove some material from the inside of the mount for bag clearance.

Re: Front bump stops with air ride ?
are you talking about the stop on the upper control arm? i removed mine but it sucked driving with the bags deflated. it gave another 1.5" drop roughly for me.

Re: Front bump stops with air ride ?
removed mine by drilling out spot welds that held the bump stop bracket to lower control arm. made new ones.
