Talking hello there....new here!!!

hey there. new person here. just bought a truck and wondering pretty much what its worth and all. its a 1969 chevy c10 lwb. its got the 250 6-cylinder and 3 on the tree manual. i bought it from the original owner with 48,xxx miles. all original in better than most condition. minimal rust. everything works except gas gauge. just plain jane truck. did not come with radio or air. it run EXCELLENT has quite a few small dents and dings in it. paints not perfect, but its not all dull and faded. its been halfway painted at some point, by the owner. you can easily tell what paints original and whats not. mainly the bed and some parts of the inside of cab been painted. i only paid $1600 for it and i feel it was worth every penny, just wondering what ya'll think its worth and everything.

thanks,
jonathan

Welcome from Kansas. Sounds like you got a good deal on the truck. If you get around to fixing the fuel gauge and need help, just post your questions and you will get a lot of help from board members. Lot of good experience and good people here.

Welcome to the board from SW Washington State.......

Sounds like you found a pretty nice truck, even a plain jane with that low mileage with little rust sounds good..

Well Old Dave beat me to it, but i'll give you another welcome from Kansas. I think your truck sounds pretty solid, and the price is right too.

Good luck with it, and keep us posted

welcome from texas! usually, the gas gauge wont work because of the sending unit, or the wire going to it.
