Re: 15x10 Rally wheels on fron and back

I have 15x10 on the back. Choose your tire size carefully. My 71 isn't lowered and the 315/50-15 drag radials rub in hard corners. On a 2wd I don't see 15 10 ' s fitting

Re: 15x10 Rally wheels on fron and back

I have 15X10 ralleys on my lowered 69, the one in my avatar. Never had any issues. Nothing rubs or hits, can turn steering stop to stop, all clear. It corners nicely!

Measures 5" to the face of the center to the edge of the rim. I have steel ralleys caps that are a pain to pull so I couldn't measure the stud surface but to the surface right under the edge of the center caps is five inches.

Re: 15x10 Rally wheels on fron and back

8" wide on front is my limit. I once drove an 88 2wd pickup with 10" rims and 295/50/15 tires all around. That was the absolute hardest driving truck I have ever driven. I walked around it thinking the front wheels were toe'd out because it pulled both ways. I didn't buy it. But if that's your thing more power to ya.

I'm really surprised, my truck handles great, tracks nicely and corners great as well.

Re: 15x10 Rally wheels on fron and back

I was surprised as well. I looked the truck over real good and couldn't find anything that might cause it to steer so heavy but it sure turned me off. I know the dealers sold a lot of custom conversion trucks during the 90's with 10" wheels all around. Come to think of it I drove one of them once and it felt fine although I think the tires were narrower than 295/50s.
