62 A arms
On the 62 c/10, does the control arms use bushings or what? When I get to the point of redoing the front suspension, just like to know what I'm getting into. Noticed the rebuild kits don't include anything as far as bushings go. Also noticed they have grease fittings on each end. Staying with factory torsion bars.

Re: 62 A arms
I got new bushings with the new cross shafts from CPP for my 62 I had a little play on the driver side so I went ahead and replaced the shafts. But I don't think CPP had just the bushings like Ecklerstrucks does

Re: 62 A arms
Ecklers is only showing the shafts as well for 62. The bushings they show are for 63 up.Hopefully I can find them locally at one of these old parts stores around here. I just find it odd that none of the front suspension kits have the bushings in them when the other years do.

Re: 62 A arms
It appears to me in the Eckler photos that the bushings are included with the 60-62 shafts, but not available separately. If you're intending to keep the torsion bar front end, it may be wise to replace both the shafts and bushings unless your original shafts are in amazingly good condition.
Even "RareParts" doesn't offer the bushings by themselves, only as part of the shaft assembly. The only option may be Ebay for just the bushings. http://www.showmetheparts.com/rareparts/
