Inline 6 292 a/c bracket

I have been ask by a few members about an a/c bracket that I made for my 292 six , hope these pic's help kinda gives the size and shape of the bracket. the smaller the dist. the lower you can make the bracket. the slots on the top bracket is so the compressor belt can adjust, or you could mount a idler pulley some where if you wanted to , ole dollor is gone and I cant take any new pic's , this is what I have found so far , hope it helps... Don

two brackets bolt to the side of the head between the spark plugs. top plate welded to them , and gussets from the top to the side brackets , slots cut in the top bracket to slide the sanden compressor to tighten the a/c belt, 4L brackets to hold the compressor to the top mount .....

Thumbs up Inline 6 194/230/250/292 A/C bracket

Thanx ! .

I don't know how to weld & I'm a messy Fabricator so I'd like to find some for my truck .

Is that a Sanden series 5 or 7 compressor ? .

Please keep the photos and ideas coming ! .

FWIW , my '69 C/10 has the extended ATF & Engine Oil dipsticks from a G Series Van that come all the way forward to the radiator so there's clearance issues , I know these vans were sold with AC so I'm hoping to find a set some where , I don't mind taking them off the junker in the Desert..... (hint) .

TIA ,

seams like it was a sanden 508 I think, you might show the pic's to a welder and see if he can build one for you, its not that hard to do , I guess you could build it to bolt together instead of welding it. hope you find something, it to hot not to have A/C ..... Don
