seat question?
I scored a deal on a interior out of a 98 with buckets ,consoles ect. While putting it in I noticed the drivers side showed quite a bit of wear on the arm rest and the side of the seat where you drag your butt over. While looking at it I grabbed the tape measure and quickly saw that both seats looked to be the same size. The only difference was the controls on the outside seat bottom. My question is ,the junk yards are full of nice passenger seats ,has anyone tried to put a passenger side cover on the drivers side? Thanks

Re: seat question?
I don't have a solid answer, but I'll tag along to see if anyone has been successful. Good question -----

Re: seat question?
During my working career years ago we had a company Astro van with the vinyl seats. One of the heavier coworkers ripped up the driver's seat on the left edge. I swapped the pass. seat for the driver's seat on a slow weekend I had duty. Worked perfect. Some GM seats look like they might swap like this, but a closer look shows differences on the left and right console edges of the seats. Look closely; it may be possible to swap them like I did.
