68 250cid 6 starter ?

I have my 68 c10 with the og motor 250 6 in it but I went with a 700r4 trans now im trying to find a starter to fit, my block will not take the off set bolt starters mine is bolted straight from each other so if anyone has info please let me know thanks.

I went from a 700 to a 350 in one of my vehicles, and the converter bolt holes lined up. What did you have, originally?

No I had gotten a auto one but the nose cone was to big then I just went out today and got mini starter and just got it in.

It's a different deal on the sixes. I went through the same thing and ended up going to a starter rebuilder and had him change the nose to the proper bolt layout.
