Re: "The way it is" 67'swb
new vintage usa, very nice and really like them. using a nvg3500 and just had to hook up the two wire speed sensor, everything else was standard. what i like is the middle area has all your dummy gauges.

Re: "The way it is" 67'swb
The gauges were a big bill but did not want one of those boxes that are mechanical to electrical and my gauges were crap and needed replaced so I figured I would splurge.
Two really cool things, first junior got his permit and has been looking for a vehicle. Well he found one and it is sweet! One owner garage kept and damn near perfect! 93 blazer and at a heck of a price! Next is a picture of my prize for 8 years of work! Still have some stuff to do to have it completely finished but at least I can enjoy it while finishing it. She feels great, had it aligned today. Mike, the bench seat worked out great thanks! Had cleaned it all up and painted the base metal then bought a seat cover. Sorry if the pictures are up side down again. Not sure why they keep uploading like that?

Re: "The way it is" 67'swb
Well it has been a while since I have had any updates. Relocated to WI from PA and needless to say it was quite a chore. Was able to have SpecialK give me a huge helping hand by taking some of my extra and left over parts and pieces that I would not be needing and they will be able to be used and not taking up shop space or collecting dust anymore. Thanks Tim! Also was able to have lunch with msgross and jr. one last time before moving, he was always my yuengling backpack carrying carlisle partner!
Wanted to also put the word out for anyone looking for a good trust worthy transporter if you are ever in the market to move one of your babies. Can not say enough for this company and made the worrisome task of relocating my 9 years of sweat and tears labor of love to WI. Tom the owner was the one who operated the the rig and got her safely from A to Z, also the best price I could find of all the major transporters. That was an awesome trailer with all of the hydraulics, lift gate, floors(up/down and tilting ability) and the coolest was the hardwood floor that you can see in the pic. http://www.sundayautotransport.com Have about 600 miles on what my kids have named "olive oil" so will have to change build thread name some time. Olive because of the color and oil cause of a stupid leak I am having a hell of time getting to seal at the timing cover/oil pan seem. Think they are tired of me complaning about it. couple pics for the update.

Re: "The way it is" 67'swb
He moved you from A to Z? I thought you went from P to W?
Nice name for the truck... Now find a Popeye rear window sticker or something...

Thank you, been enjoying it and working out the bugs. Nothing major just little things. Saw your sport truck link, funny I had a black 92 sport, that i wish I held on to.

Re: "The way it is" 67'swb
I finally added a furnace to the barna dn my daughter is helping with the project. Not much movement yet but we installed a new door and set the timing in order to get it started again. Going to finish the cab metal and hang some sheetmetal so it looks like a truck again.
