Welcome to the truck board....

Your 1969 C-20 looks like it has had a pretty hard life, but I'm sure it can be resurrected. There are probably not many of them in Sweden so you would certainly have a unique vehicle...

The inside of your engine actually looks pretty clean. If it is not stuck, I'm betting after installing the parts it needs it will start and run.

Good luck with your project.

Re: project chevy pickup-69 in sweden...

The story:
purchased unseen on swedish ebay(blocket.se)

Pocket home using a buddy.
The time is over when you go country o kingdom around to check on cars!

Make a call and drinking a cup of tea instead.
Just waiting to be trailered home to me!

Chevy engine 350
tranny TH350
eight bolted
2wd
8fotare
last time i was on the road was in -84

there are repairs here and there, it seems like some time been productive and started to weld up cab
torpedo, thresholds etc., but get tired. :?
the doors are cut as well as the cab corners!
Missing parts .....

The worst is all filler (bondo???) ... Someone has gone and bought up the entire stock of PP100 ...

wooden base of the bed is rutten ..... did not even have to use tools ....

The frame is painted and nice, feels good ...

going to fix her up and use as a daily driver summertime!

Re: project chevy pickup-69 in sweden...

Do you know if it was originally built for export or was it built for the US market and made its way to europe over the years?

i do know that it came with a manuell tranny and most likely not with a v8..

Subscribed, I can't wait to see how she turns out. Are you going to keep her mostly stock looking?

Re: project chevy pickup-69 in sweden...

I am not much for stock cars..

If it was in better shape i would restore her to original specs

But engine/tranny is not stock, neither is the bed.It is in very bad shape.
Alot of bondo...and rust..

I usually buillt my cars so drive them allmost all year around but not in the winter!!
First going too take the engine apart too se if there is some hope for it...

Got some ideas....
wait and see!
