i have the passenger side in good daily driver condition. very minor pits if theres any at all.

You can tell the 67 only handles by the way the mounting bolts are positioned in the handle. 67 handles have the bolts going straight in ( from level, zero degrees), The 68-72 handles have the bolts go in at an angle. This change was made because it was cheaper tooling to machine the handle with the hole at an angle that matches the contour of the handle.
You will also notice that the 67 door shell is different where the handle bolts to it. Hope this helps. Tom
