How rare?
Is a 71 or 72 2 wheel drive 3/4 step side longbed? I have only seen this thing from the road. I have only seen one other long bed step side. Would you pursue it?

depends is it a gmc or chevy? they are few and far between but they are a aquired taste. i have a 70 gmc lwb stepside and i still think it looks awkward as hell

Now if you find a 9 foot step, which would only come as a one ton, now THAT is an awkward looking rig, and rare too.
