I'd try J.C.Whittney or Craigslist

Craigslist.
No one is likely making them any more.

I used "statewidelist.com" to search CL.

Re: Where do you find a grille guard like this?

Lots of companies used to make them, but it's increasingly difficult to find them NEW from anywhere. Smittybuilt, Westin and LuVerne were among the top brands. Hope that helps!

Remember that the bumper style changes in like 81 so they are two different contours styles for the push bars.

Re: Where do you find a grille guard like this?

just removed mine, have been meaning to list it on the parts board but just haven't had the time yet - is this what you're looking for? I don't believe it will fit your bumper though, unfortunately - it fits the 76's countour and ribs perfectly. I don't have all the bolts, some I had to retain as this utilizes some of the bumper bolts. It's heeeeeaaaaaavy... pm me if interested, happy to work something out. If not what you're looking for (and I think it might not be), no problema.

Re: Where do you find a grille guard like this?

I searched for about a year on eBay, craigslist, etc... before finding one. Found mine on a truck going down the road ;-)

A truck came up next to me that had one on it, the bar looked great, but the truck had seen better days. Followed the guy for about five miles, pulled in next to him, asked if he wanted to sell it, made offer, had tools, took it off his truck right there in the parking lot.

Lesson learned, it never hurts to ask.

Good luck finding one. FYI, there were many different ones made. Some welded, some bolted together, some attach to bumper, others frame.

Enjoy,

I got mine from a fellow forum user after posting the same question on another forum.

I have dealt with the guy who acquired the HE brand.
Good guy in Michigan making repro parts and has lots of used HE stuff.

I see he has a brush guard for 289$

Re: Where do you find a grille guard like this?

I have always liked the Hickey guards, but never have been able to afford one. I just installed this one on my truck this week, it had the lights already on it.
