Re: Parting Out 67 Longbed
Do you have the heater core? If so, is it brass and copper or aluminum?
Was it leaking? If it's good to go (and not aluminum), how much? |

Re: Parting Out 67 Longbed
I would like to get in line on the dash pad. Also, what kind of condition is the seat cover in? For what it's worth, I live in Charlotte and can pick up.

Re: Parting Out 67 Longbed
If you are in a big enough hurry that you can't wait, you may want to move to a different post. As the quotes below show,I've been very up front in this very thread that I had other commitments (work and family related) that had to be taken care of ahead of parting out this truck. I should be able to spend some time with the truck tomorrow on my way back home from my trip. I will update you, and everyone else that has asked about something tomorrow evening when I'm back home.

Re: Parting Out 67 Longbed
Mr. Chivo
I pulled the arm rests and rear view assembly today. The rear view and bracket got left with a bag of small parts in the front seat of the truck. I'll have it up here Tuesday evening, as my wife has to go to Charlotte that afternoon. Below are pictures of the arm rests. Hunter67Stepside I looked at the shift indicator and cable but didn't pull them. The indicator is a little hazy but passable, but the cable looked a little jacked up. The end of it looked like someone tried to paint it hazard orange to make it show up better? If you're building anything nice, I'd probably pass on it. I'll try to remember to take my camera to the truck next time and get you a picture. BigOrange Ignition bezel was the small type, but it looks like the PO tried to remove it with a pipe wrench. It's garbage at this point. Below are pictures of the park lights. Note the red overspray on the lense edges. waylonbud Grille Hoop was dinged up pretty good. Doesn't look like it's useable, so I didn't pull it. Hippy foot is in a bag of small parts that got left in the cab. I should have it back here Tuesday night after my wife goes to Charlotte. Fenders are in great shape. Driver side has one hole in the cup, but it's not bad at all. One small dent pictured down low on front of this cup. Passenger side looks to be a repro of unknown manufacture, and is very solid. Drivers side Passenger Side Last edited by frednoah; 08-16-2015 at 08:42 PM. |

midniteblues 67-C20-CST
Vent windows are a mismatched pair, and not in the best of shape. One frame is black, the other is chrome(that is pitted). Rubber on both would need to be replaced. Two different latches. I didn't think to grab a picture. Will try to take the camera down next time (thinking Friday AM since I'm off) if either of you still think you may be interested in them after reading that description Leroy-B1 Forgot to get you pictures of the column, It's in good shape. Only things removed are the steering wheel and the cobra head from the end of the shift lever. Grille hoop was dinged up pretty good. Didn't pull it, as I don't think it's something that would be worth fixing. See above note on vent windows. Passenger fender pics are posted above for waylonbud. Vero67 Cigarette lighter is pulled. Sitting in bag of small parts still with truck. I should have it back up here on Tuesday evening. Will get you pics then. 72Kool Dash pad is in good shape. Looks like a reproduction. No cracks, and all mounting studs are intact. See pictures below. Not sure I'd want to ship it, as I'd imagine it would be easily damaged in shipping. Punkrex Must have missed your first post. I didn't look at the booster bracket or pedal rod today. I will put this at the top of the list for next trip down. ebustos Fender pics are posted above to waylonbud. I will let you know if he passes. rotorcycle Dash pad pics are above. Truck doesn't have any seat belts. mike16 Gas pedal, cobra head shift knob and steering wheel all got pulled, and left behind in the truck today. I should have them up here Tuesday. Will get you pics then. Last edited by frednoah; 08-16-2015 at 08:54 PM. |

Re: Parting Out 67 Longbed
In The Ten Ring
Didn't have a chance to mess with the heater core today. Looks like brass piping sticking out of the outer heater box, but I have no idea on condition when it comes to leaks. Motor was long gone by the time I got the truck. towbar Windshield stainless is in good shape, but I've misplaced the 90 degree clip that goes at the top of the windshield on the passenger side. I'll have to check the truck next time I'm down to see If I dropped it on the seat when I picked the long piece up. See picture below. ChevEE Dash pad pictures are above. Will let you know if it makes it to you. Seat has been recovered. It is in very good shape. I couldn't find any tears or cuts in it. I think a little armorall would make it a bolt in for a driver. 70/JJ Outer heater box looked to be in good shape, but I didn't give it a good inspection. I will do so on Friday when I'm back down. Unsure on the rear. I will take my floor jack and stands back next time and spin the tires to get an idea of what we're looking at. drewbert41 Eschutions are long gone, handles are there. Serviceable for a driver. I will try to get them pulled and get pictures when I get back down that way at the end of the week. I just ran out of time today. Re: Parting Out 67 Longbed
The underdash and engine compartment wiring were both a total disaster. I don't think I'd use them in anything I cared about.
The rear harness I'll have to take a look at next time I'm down. |

Re: Parting Out 67 Longbed
Hello,
Thanks for the pics, fenders look good enough to make the trip. Youll have to let me know when is a good time to come by Sunday. I would like to leave here early so I could be at your place around 9-10:00 but its up to you. Also what do you need for hippy foot pedal so I know how much cash to bring with. I may bring enough to pick up that tranny too. Thanks. |

Re: Parting Out 67 Longbed
When you drop the steering column can you send me the small hoop bracket with the 2 bolts that hold it to the dash? I have the other 2 brackets but can't find the small hoop. Let me know please. Thanks

Re: Parting Out 67 Longbed
Thank you for the response about the seat & dash pad. I am interested in the seat. And I will wait patiently in line for word on the dash pad. If the dash pad comes around to me, what would you want for it? Also, what kind of condition are the door panels in? How much would you want for them?
...Can you tell my interior needs some attention?

Re: Parting Out 67 Longbed
Hey. Thanks. I really don't care about the cable or the lens. The main thing i need is an unbroken cable holder. Normally they are cracked around the screw hole. If this one is good you can cut the fiber cable (I have another). I also have a good lens for it. So it's all good as long as the plastic is good. Please check it and send my a price. I'd still pay $10 but you tell me what fair! Thanks
