3 Person 67-68 seat belts?
I picked up these seat belts the other day and I have a few questions. So first off are these 67-68 or only 67? Second is that do I have a full set here? It appears to have a center male end with buckle along with two retractors and two male straps. And I also have two buckles and two more male straps but with no retractors. I had thought that in 67 they only came with 2 person seat belts but I'm really not sure what I have here and any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance guys and gals!

Re: 3 Person 67-68 seat belts?
First, im sure they are 67 only and guessing since there's enough for 2 seats they're out of a suburban or blazer maybe?

Re: 3 Person 67-68 seat belts?
'67.
The '68 belts had the "GM" center button release, like the later years. Not sure about the federal regulations, but it's possible that The Feds only required a pair of belts up front and other belts were optioned. In 1968 Fed regs went into full force with all seats belted and flashers, side markers [reflectors] and running lights mandated. A set of 5 or 6 belts would be from a Suburban, since Blazers didn't exist until the 1969 Model Year.

I like 'em too. I have heard the type called 'aircraft seat belts', but the aviaton industry has moved on. Airliners use a belt buckle with more aluminum and the military has a much beefier pilot restraint system.
