I drove mine all through my senior year of high school, and through my two years of tech school. Now that I have a good paying job, I'm gonna rebuilt her from the ground up. She deserves it for being the most reliable vehicle I have ever had-and I've had a lot. The gas mileage does suck. But oh well!!

60 miles a day, to and from work. It has about 155,000 on the motor and I am waiting for it to puke any day now. LOL! I think my batery is a duracell.

My 69 faithfully takes me to work and back every day, rain or shine.
After working on new Fords all day, it feels good to get in a REAL truck and drive home.

7 days a week i drive mine. Infact it looks pretty bad from the outside but this summer she's going under the shop and coming apart. People every day ask me "is that thing still running" and ofcourse i reply "like a dream". Infact i drove it from North Carolina to Iowa after having it only running for 3 days and that just blows peoples minds, but she's a Heavy Chevy.

I drive the beast every day to work, sporting a tie and white shirt. It aint pretty, but I always arrive in style; With a big chirp of the tires coming into the parking lot. A few guys allready traded in the 2 door sport coupes for trucks - I sense Chevy envy.

The 69 has 495,500 miles on it now, 120,000 miles since its last resto. When it hits 500,000, I plan another resto. It shares some of the drive time with the 72 2wd Blazer and the 71 GMC 4x4. Alot depends on the job at hand for the day. The 69 gets the call most of the time.

Hardly ever drive them except to my carwash about 1/month to wash off the dust and wax them. None of them are insured or tagged, so it's not a risk I'm willing to accept by driving them everyday. And never, ever do I drive them on anything but a nice sunny day. My daily drivers are much more comfortable, much more efficient (25 MPG vs 10)and are used to haul, pull etc. My toys are exactly that, toys, and they are played with only when it's nice.
