Re: 1972 GMC Suburban part out

I think he went through moving all his trucks and parts only to have his new neighbors complain and turn him in to the local code department.

How good is the front half. The floors on thw truck im. Looking to use are rusted pretty bad. We have most aftermarket replacement pieces for the rockers. And floors with inner rocker. But along the rocker all the way to the upper wall before eood floor is risted alonh with under floor braces.if its possible what i need is basically from firewall spot welds back. And some of the b and c pillar. If like to cut my floor entiely out and use yours to drop in. The other questions is whats the cost and possibly shipping on this unless your local to nc. The previous owner got quarters for this suburban from you. And you did a awsome job removing them

Re: 1972 GMC Suburban part out

There is some hack work in the drivers side front area in the footwell area....so might not be a good candidate for you that type of cut. I will get more detailed pics showing...

Thanks for the info. I dont necessary need the front half since we habe repair panels for the front and its issues. The main issue i have is the sides all the way to the rear. The gussets under neath and some of the b pillar on the inside. I dont think i need ot cut out via spot welds but more like entire bottom. Half rockers and all so we can use what we need. If thats possible. Pretty much this is the only way to salvage this bourbon im. Going to get
