Re: Need Some help

1 is for the overflow tube coming out just under the radiator cap and the other is to allow fluid/air to escape the overflow bottle if too much accumulates.the tube that is the shortest inside of the bottle connects to the radiator.

Re: Need Some help

i made a similar tank for truk out of 3'' ss exhaust tube
as thebebop mentioned the long tube in the tank is your vent, the short tube in the tank hooks to the radiator overflow
look inside the tank, not at the bottom lengths

my tank doesn't have a cap, it just catches the overflow from a full radiator
the vent tube is cut at a 45* and run all the way to the top of the tank
i bent the vent tube so that any overflow would miss the frame

Re: Need Some help

As Ogre Mentioned that is the long tube "inside the canister" that is the vent.

I like the idea of the way Ogre made his and may have to talk my son into making me one like that.
