Why in the wide world of sports would you admit to this?

One of my friends taught his wife that trick for fluid leaks, and of course the outcome was the same as this guy. They didn't get along all that well, so I think he set her up. :/

Re: Horror Article from LMC

Who here has tasted all the fluids to know the differences??

How many here have smelled all the fluids to know the differences?

Thought so.
.................................................................................................... ................

Kinda like when my son started a fire all around the shed that the VFD had to come take care of. He had dumped the woodstove ashes and they lit the leaves on fire and on from there. He felt really bad, and after all he was doing a chore. He said his Nan told him a pail of ashes can fool you. They can still hold embers for days. This is very true and I truly appreciate her teaching him this. BUT... what she taught him was you stick your hand down in them to check. WHAT??? My apologies to anyone here or anyone who knows someone who is mentally challenged, but that is pure re-tar-ded! So what if they are still red hot??? I'd rather have my shed burnt to the ground than my son rushed off to the hospital as a burn victim!!! I'm glad he didn't dip his hand in enough to find out. Holy cow, how hard is it to find a stick and stir them up? He is now equipped with proper knowledge of how to handle this situation.

I know what gasoline, diesel fuel, brake fluid, coolant (all variations), transmission fluid, gear oil AND urine smell like. Evidently, this fellow didn't.

Re: Horror Article from LMC

Ya know, I don't think I would have posted this story on the ole interwebs for everyone to see. If I was this guy, I would have never mentioned that to anyone....ever! Haha. Crazy to just taste some random "leak" anyway....I've tasted antifreeze before, back when it was sweet, that's how ya could tell it was antifreeze. Got gas in my mouth once or twice on accident. Never just tasted random stuff under a vehicle though!

My Dad taught me it's better to be... pissed off... than pissed on!

I read between the lines that it's no good to drink it either!
