Rear blazer seat bracket question???
Can someone measure the distance between the center of the hold down section (center of C) to the center of the bolt hole and let me know? Also what size bolt or bolt hole does the bracket use? I have a few pairs of brackets from other applications that might work for the rear seat with a little modifications.

Nobody has a blazer with rear seats or the stock hold down brackets? Or is it that much trouble to take a tape measure out and measure the distance between the bolt and the top/center of the loop?

I just happen to have mine sitting on the work bench. From the center of the "C" to the center of the hole is approx. 1.25". The entire bracket is approx 3". From the back to the center of the hole is .75" and it is about 2.125" wide. FYI, there are several people already making their own reproductions. You used to be able to buy them through Echobit. I think that TonyP is also making them. They sell for around $35.

Thanks bouncytruck, I have a few pairs of brackets that are heavy enough to hold down the seats, but wasn't sure if they could be modified to work. Now I know some of these should work. I'll post pictures on the parts board for those who want to modify them. Basically they would need to be drilled the proper bolt hole size at the correct location.
