Will these rims fit my truck?

I'm looking to get another set of rims for my 70 Longhorn and I came across these on Craigslist. I really like the look of them but I don't know if they will fit my truck. They are off a 2004 Ford f-250 4x4. If you guys say that they will work on my truck I'm also wondering if I can put 2004 style Chevy caps on them? Thanks for any help.

Re: Will these rims fit my truck?

I want to say that they won't. If my memory serves me correctly, the Chevy hubs are larger than Ford, so the rims won't fit. I believe you can run Chevy rims on Fords, but not the other way around.

Actually Ford's have a larger diameter hub. I think the wheel that you have pictured is 170 mm bolt circle. The 170 mm wheel will not work on the older 8 x 6.5" bolt circle. Hope this helps.

Keep watching and you'll find a set of nice Silverado HD wheels. Similar design and not off of an F word.

Correct. Ford switched from 8x6.5" to 8x170mm in 1998 or 1999.

I found a set of late model chevy wheels with tires on craigslist for $100. Fit great.

That's what I'm running on my longhorn too but I need to get a set of rear wheel spacers so I can run the center caps on the back wheels. Otherwise I really dig the look on our old trucks

I found some dually caps for the rear. had to trim off some of the back edge with my sawzall to make them fit.

That sounds like a much better option than wheel spacers. Thanks for the idea!
