Re: Shock absorber
Is it lowered? If so, how much? I'm assuming it's a coil spring rear??

Re: Shock absorber
I'd say a pair of Monroe or any run of the mill shocks will do just fine. These trucks aren't particularly pick when it comes to shocks. You'll probably love how it rides with a new pair.

Re: Shock absorber
I bought a pair of Monroe Gas Matics and replaced them with Bilsteins. They are more expensive but truly tightened up the rebound.

Re: Shock absorber
I put Gas Magnums all around on my C10 and it rode like a lumber wagon. Replaced them with MonroeMatics.

Re: Shock absorber
Bilsteins are good for sports cars. I put them on my 2002 Tahoe and it totall killed the ride. Even after 25,000 miles they're still stiff.

Re: Shock absorber
I've had Bilsteins on my 95 Yukon, my 2008 Expedition, my 72 GMC Stepside, and of course they did come standard on my 2006 Z06 (which does ride like a sports car). That being said, Belstein builds shocks for lot's of applications. They are great shocks and they carry lifetime warranty. They are my "go-to" supplier for shocks. Oh, and I did buy through eshocks.
