Radio antenna
I'm going to buy a modern Bluetooth am/fm stereo for my pickup. Is there some reason my old antenna won't work with the new unit?
In the pickup now is the stock, factory am unit, Thanks for any input.

Re: Radio antenna
You would think it should But, anecdotally, I am using the stock antennae with a modern Bluetooth head unit and the FM reception is poor. Your mileage may vary.

Re: Radio antenna
My antenna works fine. Worked great for an 1100 mile drive from NC to Mo also

Re: Radio antenna
I hope you don't mind me hijacking your thread with a small question...what do I need to remove to get my antenna off? Thanks in advance

Re: Radio antenna
Thanks everybody. I'll go with what I have.
72, I would assume the wiper arms and the vent panel.
