Why can't you use the key?

They are designed not to lock by pushing the button down and closing the door so no problem there. Are you sure your ignition lock cylinder hasn't been changed and the key will not fit the doors? LockDoc

Re: locks
With door open will the key turn in the lock cylinder? If so close the door with it unlocked and while turning the key push in on the door. If it locks then you will need to adjust the strikers and possibly the door itself to get them to lock!
