Truck got new shoes today

Got new tires all the way around! 255/70-15 in front and 285/70-15 in the rear. Had those sizes before had to go to Coker to get the rears since BF Goodrich discontinued them. They were kind of $$$$ but cheaper than lowering the truck more for smaller tires. Plus I like those tires!

Great looking truck. I would say the extra cost worth it!

Looks nice. What suspension setup are you on right now? I'm running same size tires/wheels, but a little concerned about lowering unless I know I can firm it up. Too bouncy over bumps even with new shocks.

Right now it's still stock. I cut the springs in front and took two leafs out in back. But I put air shocks in back. I also have DJM 2in drop hangers in back. Eventually I want to do a flip kit with c-notch and convert to disc and do drop spindles in front. But right now it's good.

Re: Truck got new shoes today

Your truck looks great! Do those 285's really have a 2600 load capacity?

Re: Truck got new shoes today

Yes but I did notice they max at 35psi, my old ones max at 50. So I don't know if that is a Coker thing or what. My old ones were real BFs that how old they were!

Thanks! This may be an option for me. When i am towing my TT my rear axle on my Burb is around 4400 pounds. I have 255/70/15's on the rear now which are rated for 2180@44psi IIRC.
