Re: California to Boston
Just think of the tale he'll be able to share with that child or grandchild when he passes it down some day. Fantastic!

Would be a great trip if you had no responsibilities.

Re: California to Boston
That's what I'd love to do with the 64 I just bought in California, unfortunately it's not running. I'm still waiting for someone to haul it.

Re: California to Boston
Cool stuff. Great story.
I'm a fly and drive guy, done it 20 or so times over the last 25 years. I just finished a 2900 mile trip in a 1974 Chevy C65 flatbed ( that should not have been driven across the highway, much less across the country) with a 1965 Ford F-250 on the back and a Yamaha 550 in back of the ford. What a trip! Last edited by 57NAPCO; 12-06-2015 at 09:17 AM. |

Re: California to Boston
Wow 57 NAPCO that was a full load..lol... I sold a truck to a guy that drove it home to Nova Scotia..... Said the tax and dollar exchange at the border was tough. He sent the title ahead of time so the paper work would be done....

Hey why don't you stop by my place on your long slow drive home! LOL! I'm only 5 hours south of Portland.
