In need of a clearance picture quick, Please help

I have a vintage air kit coming for my 67. I need a picture of how close the fan housing is to the cowl vent and a rough distance if anyone has a tape measure.

Here's my reason, I know its rather close but I need to know if I need to build my speaker plates and put them in before I install the evaporator unit.

Has anyone ever used the cowl vents for a speaker housing? I am aware it is an area that gets wet. I am building some water tight housings.

A few pictures would be awesome, an any of a cowl vent used for a speaker is even better.
