Very nice work on the fuel tank and bed fill. The mounting ring is a nice touch.

Also, nice work on the cab/bed cart. I'm a big fan of making tools to help the restoration process move along.

Then i also have to ask, how do you like being an engineer? im an automotive tech due to not being able to afford engineering school and really want to study that. my whole family is consisted of engineers and i defiantly have the brain for it! being just a tech is easy on the mind but not the body..... sry to post here but would love some insight! also i think im going to purchase that hobart welder you have since its so versatile.

As far as the Hobart welder goes I have not had any issues with mine and I think they are a great value for the capability and price point.

Re: Project "Financial Burden": 1968 SWB C10
Not a lot of progress since my last post but I was able to smooth out the front bumper licence plate area. Since the material was so thick I had to get creative on how to give it a subtle curve to match the bumper.

Thanks! I plan on painting the bumper white to stick with my sleeper theme.

Nice job on all the metal work and the subtle changes that will set this truck apart from others. Looking forward to seeing you progress through this build.

Re: Project "Financial Burden": 1968 SWB C10
Well it’s been some time since my last post. My wife and I are moving to a new house so that has slowed down progress quite a bit these past few months. The new house will have a larger workshop space so I'm looking forward to that even though my project is in "pause" mode at the moment. My dad and brother stopped by this weekend to help me move the truck to a storage location for the time being. You should see some new pictures starting in 2017 but for now here is the latest and greatest.
