Back in a '64
Well I sold my 64 fleetside about 8 months ago after a relatively short ownership - not sure why I sold it but I did and since then I have regretted it but kept myself busy with my other German car obsession. Fast forward to now and I have a new home and wanted a truck again for hauling duties and occasional shows when it gets nice out. Well after my scouring of craigslist I emailed multiple owners and stumbled across a hobbyist that owns a dealership as well - orignally I was inquiring about a patina'd 66 LWB with original 283, s10 5 speed, new tank, brakes, lines, etc. Was something I was really leaning toward but realized the SWB was long enough when I had it so a LWB just wasnt what I needed - luckily he sent me this one he had as well with a freshly rebuilt 350 with a muncie 4 speed - barely any miles on it, new brakes, lines, tank, aluminum rad, holley 4 barrel, tires, wheel cylinders and so on. The doors have some rust in the corners but the floors are 100% and only the passenger rocker has some small pin holes. Overall the car met my requirements of having a solid drivetrain, relatively cheap, cool factor, and little needed to make it everything I need.
Looking forward to participating here again - the truck arrives Thursday so I am excited. Cheers |

Sharp looking truck! I'm really starting to dig the look of painted steelies and narrow white walls. Joseph

I like the stance.
Do you know the specs on suspension mods yet?

Sharp ride. I love driving my 64 LWB fleetside. My wife gets confused when I park my 76 stepside to drive it, but she's coming around.
