Do you mean 4.3 or 3.1 or something along that line. Never heard of a 4.1 truck engine. Maybe a L6 measured in liters? Some clarification would help.

Sounds like a 250ci....most likely an L6.

pretty sure 4.1 = 250
only other 4.1 i've heard of is the POS Caddy V8.
