15x12 Wheel questions

I know it is going to take some tub modifications and rearend modifications but I am prepared to do that. My question is backspacing. Are there any drawbacks to a 4.5" BS on a 12" wheel? Is it going to cause any premature wear on the rear bearings? I'm just thinking from a leverage aspect, maybe I'm just over thinking it.

Re: 15x12 Wheel questions

I don't see it being an issue unless you were hauling a lot of weight.

keep in touch with me,I re did my floor on my blazer and made the wheel tubs right to the frame. I,m not sure if a 12 inch tire will fit with the bulge of the sidewalls and all. When I measured it would be close. I was thinking of getting a rally widened to 11 inches. I,d like to know if a 12 inch would fit and those are the same tires I want except I want hoosier tires.
