I don't know how you can tell the differences. but both c10 and c20's came with coil springs and I think leafs were optional.

On chevy the leaf springs were optional and on GMC the trailering arms were optional.

The rear cab mounts are located lower on the fame than 1/2t, on 2wd. C/10s are unique in that area

yep, the rear cab cushion is about 3-4" tall on 3/4 2wd. The 1/2 2wd is about 1.25". I don't know anything about 4x4, never had.

4x4 uses the same rear cushions as C/20-30.

Also, I noticed the studs that hold the upper A-arms is 1/2" on the half ton while the 3/4 ton uses 9/16" studs.

I believe there are extra braces on the cross members also.

The frames are also different thicknesses between 1/2, 3/4 and 1 tons.
