Just how narrow do these Rallye wheels go?

I was just wondering......

How narrow do these Rallye wheels go?

I have a set of four 8J wheels to go on the truck at some point.

I also have a pair of chrome smoothies for the teardrop trailer. Was wondering if I should look for a pair of narrow Rallye wheels to fit to it.

So it goes with what is on the truck.

These are my wheels.

Gm truck ralleys cMe in 6.5, 7 and 8 inch widths.

As said above, van ralleys were mostly 6.5's, most of the trucks with hd brakes got the 8", 7" were used on the middle tier trucks.

Ryan, did you pick those up at Bens Reclamation in Frampton Cotterill?

I don't know if anyone has picked up on their being 6 stud, I take it that's what you are running? Van Ralleys are 5x5, same as later trucks.

Thank you for the replies guys.

I have looked on EBay and prices are silly. So I will keep looking.
But I do need the right design and more importantly, I need a narrow wheel.

The 5 stud design is fine as that is what I will be fitting in the Chrome Smoothies right now.....

J1MMY, just realised you are in the UK as well.

I bought my set of four 8" wide used Rallyes from a guy on Rods n Sods off his 56 Chevy truck.

So they are ready to go back onto my truck once I have done the body etc. (unless I decide to sell them and go some other silly route)

However......

Been wanting to get the hubs off the Grizz Pod ever since selling the Radar wheels and buying these Chrome Smoothies for it. Then of course I sold the Chrome Smoothies off the truck and bought the Rallye wheels and powder coated them very red. I guess the ideal would be to find another pair of Rally wheels in a narrow width, so that I can get a pair of 185/15 tyres on them.

But I do want the same pattern that's on the trucks Rallye wheels.

So removed the hubs..

Next job is to find someone who can turn the 4 stud hubs into 5 stud units to fit the bolt pattern of the Smoothies and also machine the edge of the nipple on the hubs so the wheel centres fit, as they do not fit right now.
Also to figure which way to fix the wheels to the hubs.

Nothing is ever really easy is it?

So that's why I am looking for a narrow fitment, something like the 6.5 that will fit the trailer with a 185 wide tire.

I've got a set of 6.5" Ralleys. Oddly enough also got them from R'n'S. Drop me a PM.
