Re: '62 longbed going under the knife
I used the flapwheel on my underside. Much nicer than having the wire wheel spitting needles at me. Got the same results and it does a bigger surface.

Re: '62 longbed going under the knife
Not much to do with the c10 but this afternoon my dad and I picked up this old Lincoln sp150 welder from my grandpas barn, thought it was a pretty cool score I love old stuff like this.

Re: '62 longbed going under the knife
On the firewall picture I see you added some metal around the top. Is that to smooth the firewall or to block of the vents?

Re: '62 longbed going under the knife
That was to smooth the firewall up, I've seen it a few times really like that clean smooth look

Re: '62 longbed going under the knife
Cool. Did you use 16 or 14g steel on that?

Re: '62 longbed going under the knife
Hey, nice work! I can't help but notice your frame has no X. Is it a 62? Also what transmission are you using? I'm working on a 62 also and I'm going to have an issue fitting a 700r4 under the low hump cover. It looks like your retaining the cross member that used to support the original. Thx, Tony
