shortened, engine swapped, lowered...
I bought this lwb truck the day before thanksgiving with a 4.3 that had a bad head gasket. Mechanic/friend of mine gave me a great deal on a 350 268 comp cam vortec head motor, shortened the frame, lowered and installed some new seat upholstery... I stole some wheels from another project for now and it'll be off to paint in the next month or so. thought I'd share some pictures

I bought the truck, motor, spindles with flip money from some parts and trucks. I'm going to try and finish this truck for under $3k (-wheels/tires)

thank you, the rear could come down a bit more but I'm not gonna mess with it. I wish I could drive it the way it is, rust doesnt really bothe me but multi colored vehicles drive me nuts not sure yet, if the wife likes it I'll probably keep it.

Man, you work fast! I'd still be trying to determine how to shorten the bed and frame.
