What springs have I got?

Evening all.

Woody came with shorter springs when he arrived but can anybody tell me how much shorter they actually are?

And for scale...

And the lows...

Tyres are too short and will be replaced next week.

Those are front spring and they look like they have been cut. So no telling what they started life as. Has the truck got stock or drop spindles?

Re: What springs have I got?

I looked at some old pictures of when I did my 70, and if the loop count is the same, I Cut 1 1/2 coils out of mine which equated to maybe 2 -2.5"

Re: What springs have I got?

Thanks for the replys.

Yes, just fitted dropped spindles and am looking at options to alter the ride height if required.

They are "new" springs and have been cut but trying to work out what a 2", 3" or even 5" Spring would be in total length.

Thanks.

Re: What springs have I got?

Well I don't think I would have got a good alignment if I went any more than one coil, that,s on old springs. probably could get one and a half on new springs. Seems to ride stiffer with cut springs also.
