poly motor mounts?

I posted this in the ls swap forum and got not love. Hoping you guys can provide me with some feedback.

Should I run poly inserts on my clam shell mounts? I searched and some guys don't like them. Some guys say the other rubber replacement fall apart so poly is the only ones that hold up.

Putting. 6.0l ls Engine in my truck

Re: poly motor mounts?

My only complaint with poly mounts (I've got a 454) is you get a little more vibration back though the cab which I have poly bushing in everything body/motor/trans/spring eyes and even shock bushings

Re: poly motor mounts?

454 I swapped into my K5 destroyed the poly mounts in just a few offraod trips. It was not a wild BB....maybe 300 hp tbi engine. I think good rubber replacements are just as good...my $0.02
