Bed Side Angle Strip Fasteners
Am I correct in that the outer bed wood is not drilled and the bolts going through the angle strips doesn't go thru the wood?

Re: Bed Side Angle Strip Fasteners
Alright.
So when Mark-K sells their new wood fully drilled I "assume" they are drilled on the two edge boards.

Re: Bed Side Angle Strip Fasteners
If your bead wood is routed that way then I would mount it that way. That is the way my original bead wood was mounted but it was not routed just bolted down. When I got my new wood from Mar-k that edge was not routed. It went all the way to the bed sides and I had to drill my own holes in it.

Re: Bed Side Angle Strip Fasteners
So when I buy the Mark-K wood it won't be routed or drilled. Thanks.

Re: Bed Side Angle Strip Fasteners
All the edges should be routed except for the ones that but up against the bed sides and you will have to drill the holes your self. Mine is a step side. But I would assume it is the same on a fleet. If I were you I would call them they are vary helpful and will tell you all you need to know or you can go on there wedsight that is full of installation instructions.

Re: Bed Side Angle Strip Fasteners
My only "perceived" issue is my drill chuck rotating and hitting the bed side when I drill. Other than that I'm golden, thanks guys.

Re: Bed Side Angle Strip Fasteners
make sure you drill the holes before varnish it so that the varnish will get into the holes that you drill.
