Wiper Motor and Valve Covers
Hey Guys,
I have a question about the windshield wiper motor. The one I have now doesn’t come on. The used one I bought off of Ebay doesn’t work. How do I test if it’s the motor or the switch, wiring, etc.?? I have the dash torn out so getting to the switch is a piece of cake. Any info would be much appreciated. Also are rubber valve cover gaskets for a 350 with Mickey Thompson valve covers ok. Do u use any sealant? Thanks again Tony

to my knowledge ya use RTV silcone stuff with corkboard only.
Rubber is just byitself. |

bladex, RTV should never be used to install valve cover gaskets. doing so is an open invitation for leaks. save the RTV for the intake.

Since the switch is easy to get to, check for 12V at the switch, and then check to see if the wires running to the moter get power when you move the switch through the positions. Don't forget to check your fuses.
