'70 C10 Valve Covers
What valve covers would have come on a '70 C10 with a 350 (LS9)?

Re: '70 C10 Valve Covers
I guess I should have been more specific with my question. I have seen chrome, orange or cast aluminum "finned" valve covers.
Sorry if this is something that should be obvious to me. Just bought my first classic truck.

Re: '70 C10 Valve Covers
I've never seen any chrome or otherwise on the pick-ups, just the factory orange steel ones. I think anything other than that would have been added on by the owner

HOBART IN!!!!! That's my home town! (although I lived in ross township, so therefore was a pirate rather than a brickie...) Welcome Matt. Share some pics of your new truck when you get a chance. Yep, original valve covers would have been stamped steel, painted orange - and would look kinda like these:

Thanks Jocko. I appreciate the pics.
Yes, Hobart, IN! Small world. Sorry to hear you were a Pirate and not a Brickie. I will get some pics posted of the new truck. Thanks.

Re: '70 C10 Valve Covers
Trucks were utilitarian back then. No flash, frills, no special suped up engine packages... just built for plain low end ol' TQ.

Re: '70 C10 Valve Covers
KW beat me to the orange ones answer! I think you would not find anything but that on these trucks then they were just trucks and with that like said above they were for work not bling. That has been left up to us. Jim
