62 c10 power steering conversion ..promblems
What's up crew I'm a new member logging in for the first time hoping someone out there can help me. Current project is a 62 C10 283 M/T , Doing a power steering conversion kit purchased online. Currently running into problems mounting the power steering pump. This motor has the horse collar mortor mount in the front , shaped like a Horshoe. My problem is I cannot mount the pump because the motor mount is in the way using the two lower bolt holes below the water pump. Any tips or suggestions on what to do without having to relocate the motor mount any feedback is greatly appreciated

Re: 62 c10 power steering conversion ..promblems
Welcome to the forums! There's another member on here ( 61k10) that had this problem. I believe he solved it by cutting the part of the horseshoe that gets in the way and welded a plate on. Go to this thread and scroll down http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=703492. Here's a pic from the thread

Yes post pic of what you do to it. No need to thank me, it was 61K10. If you have any questions about it ask him.
