I know most of you guys/gals are rock crawlers or just plain nice truck makers but here's what I'm planning on doing to my '72. Got this from the guy selling it. From the pictures I've seen it is one sweet rig.

I'm pretty sure it's in Glamis but I couldn't tell you for sure what area of Glamis.

thats pretty cool. its nice to see a truck out in the dunes besides all of the high dollar prerunners. is that out in Glamis?

I think I might take an trip out there this summer.... but I doubt I'll be jumping my Sub......

Yeah I hear you on the $$$ Dude. That thing is almost up there with those high dollar rigs though. It has a linked and coilovered front suspension and the bypass shocks and Deaver springs out back. I'm hoping I'll be able to do some dune running with mine after I get the suspension done. I'm getting a long travel leaf spring set up by Deaver though. I can't afford doing links and coilovers. From what Deaver tells me they can make the leaves perform almost as well. I've seen pics of a 67 short step k10 they did and it was a pretty nice it has like 14 inches of travel which isn't bad for a solid axle leaf sprung ride in my opinion.

no I'm kidding I don't blame you man. I don't think I could work up the courage to do that in my K5 let alone a Burb.

If you guys want pics of the suspension I'll see if I can get a hold of them.

i figured he had some kind of suspension work done becasue that would probably hurt with stock leafs. i am interested in seeing some pics of that suspension.

smokkey1- it get really hot out there in the summer, i wouldnt go out then. dune season ends around easter, just too damn hot! me and my buddy went out to gordon's to toy around with his dads new northstar long travel rail last july. it wasn't that fun becasue we really could only take it out at night because it kept over heating.

This truck makes me want to get a swb and I usually don't even like step sides.
