C10 2.5 inch drop Spindle question
I am Running a Porterbuilt level 3 air bag front dropmember and want to use some 2.5 inch drop spindles to get the truck lower. I want to run wilwood brakes on the front. What is the best company to go with? And what are modular spindles. Thanks

Re: C10 2.5 inch drop Spindle question
A "modular spindle" or "drop spindle" will maintain factory steering and suspension geometry while dropping the truck. A VERY good investment and wise move when lowering your front end! Call to make sure but I believe LMC sells the "Western" castings which clear the wider wheels. You'll have to call and verify the Wilwood caliper fitment...Heres a good read... http://www.hotrod.com/how-to/chassis...s-information/

Re: C10 2.5 inch drop Spindle question
CPP sells a drop spindle, then they sell a modular drop spindle, which sets the tire deeper in the wheelwell for more turning radius clearance.
Just make sure to talk to them about what the offset is from stock. Lots of false information floating around on this forum, about the actual offset. It all depends on what year and what factory brake setup you have to start with. I installed the modular drop instead of the regular drop on my truck
